The towel rack fell off 6 months ago
... and every day, every time I go into the bathroom, this bracket gives me an angry look for not replacing it.

It does look a little cross.

That made me LOL.
I always see faces in the taillights/bumper of cars. What?? I spend a lot of time commuting.

Kick it in the bracket UT.
That's give the little sod something to glare about.

dude, just stick your rod in its face and screw it in tight. throw a towel over it when you're done, it'll still have that "angwy face" but you won't have to look at it ever again.
problem solved. you're welcome.

OH THANK YOU I AM AN IDIOT AND NEVER CONSIDERED THAT
No, for two reasons. One, the incompetent jagoffs who remodeled this shithole decided that it would be a great idea to put the towel rack 15 inches above the TP holder. Can anyone see why this doesn't work? Anyone, anyone? Two, my septic system is in a state of complete failure, and the venting of the bathroom plumbing is either blocked, not done properly, or never done at all. As a result, the bathroom smells horribly of sulphur/rotten eggs, and most surfaces accumulate a light dusting of black mold and/or something I don't wish to contemplate. I keep my towels in my bedroom. Fuck My Life, but please don't be patronizing about it. |

patronization--unintentional. apology--sincere. I'm sorry, UT, was going for a joke, I promise. I'm sorry.

I find myself repairing a towel rod quite often at my grandkids house. You would think they do pull ups or something as they are always getting pulled out of the wall.
And they had one like yours, right above the toilet paper holder. |
