Mr. Bongo is on tour
I shit you not. Aubrey already asked me to shoot pictures Thursday night in Baton Rouge. Then he asked if I'm bringing the bongos and can I play. Sure.
Tonight he asked me to stay an extra night when we will be meeting up with the guitarist for Buckwheat Zydeco, in Lafayette. Now I've known about Buckwheat since the late '80s, when I worked at WEA. He had Dwight Yoakam and Eric Clapton on his album. I will stay until Saturday for that. Anyone who wants to come see it I will get you in for free.
