As an aside, it was kind of astonishing to go from skimming the youtube comments on Jay-Z songs to skimming comments on Steve Goodman and John Prine songs -- suddenly, full sentences, goodwill, and capitalization. Our cultures, so so very fragmented, have some odd common places.

Britain's Got Talent did the same trick a few years ago with Paul Potts. I think they pulled it off better with him. I'm not an opera fan - but I still get chills listening to this...
