The death of of the "Duke": the tragic end of Hunter S. Thompson

To all Cellar dwellers, the passing of Hunter S. Thompson this weekend is a loss to political satire/writing. He will be sorely missed by this writer, a true pioneer of the HL Mencken strain. His Fear and Loathing on the campaign trail was one of the best blow by blows of a modern campaign ever to grace the printed page. Let us all lift up a glass of Wild Turkey tonight and drink to Hunter. So long and Mahalo Hunter, you were truly one of the greats.

The guy got paid to do stuff the rest of us would just do time for... how cool is that?
