A breakup is when a boyfriend and girlfriend no longer want to date each other. Friends who won't see each other for awhile, I guess you could call that a parting. But really there's not a word for it--your question should just be, "What's a good song for friends who will be separated for awhile?"

The choice of song depends on whom you are parting from. Friend, relative, love?
