Subservient chicken successful
They just said that when Burger King launched subservientchicken.com they only told 20 people. They got like 15 million visitors.
This is ideal viral marketing, and will surely become the model in the future. |

they put the URL at the bottom of a series of TV ads. Which they showed at primetime. On the networks.

So now they're making up a story about the viral part... to introduce the idea that it WAS viral and get more buzz?
I'm inclined to believe them and think the ads came after the launch, but that's because I want to believe in the communitizing power of the net. |

i'm not trying to debunk anything ... I have no clue about the timing, the intent, anything. I'm just saying I saw a ton of TV ads with the website addy at the bottom.

I saw those ads too.
Still haven't been to the site though. Guess it didn't catch. |
