Orange alert thought

The reason all these false alarms are going off regarding airline safety and the orange alert this time is because rights are being maintained. (Radar, read this as "some" rights)

We keep hearing about false identity problems and the wrong people getting stopped at the airport. This is because various government agencies cannot exchange information about people beyond their names. Therefore the only piece of information available to counter-terrorists watching people board planes is a name. Part of the Homeland Security effort is to try to put some of these databases together and it appears they are not yet all that good at doing it.

Whether you find this to be reassuring, or alarming, is up to you.

I read some rights also. Bush seems more concerned about terrorists rights than ours.
