Beef Meatball Bourguignon

Made this yesterday. One of the finest dishes I have ever cooked. Red wine and beef stock, browned/crisped pancetta, crimini mushrooms and carrots, goddamn it was just great.

J and I went shopping at the Reading Terminal Market for most of the ingredients, so it was a real challenge and almost an all-day thing.

Worth it!

Hmm, you tell us you did good, but then you ate the evidence. I guess you'll have to get J to corroborate your story.

That looks freaking amazing. Adding it to my "want to but will probably never get around cooking it" list.

I used extra wine to make it more saucy!

Then I drank what was left in the bottle and made ME more saucy.
