Replacement battery for a laptop?
I want to get a replacement battery for my Dell Latitude D610. I understand there are off-brand batteries available that are decent and are about half the price of the official Dell part. Does anyone know which brand name batteries are good? Or if there is anything else I should look for? I went to Newegg but there were no helpful reviews there.

I highly recommend getpartsonline.com for laptop parts. I've ordered LCD displays, motherboards, keyboard, etc. from them for both home and work and have never been disappointed.
If they don't have what you need, kahlon.com has been pretty good too. |

The problem is a lack of any tech numbers or standards to know which are minimally sufficient and which are selling crap for high profit. Do you need long battery life expectancy? If not, try the cheap one. |
