UK dwellars GTG

I hereby invite SG and Dana to a weekend GTG here on my lil ole island. Menu to include toad in the hole and haggis, neeps and tatties and one other cheap'n'cheerful typically British dish.
If'n you colonialists want to join in I can get the local bunkhouse for £15/night plus food which will be as above, cheap and cheerful. You can fly to Glasgow International or Prestwick airports and it's not far from there.
Who all's up for this? When is a good time?
Hm?

As soon as I get a job, chick.
And the train is super-super-super cheap if booked in advance, as I discovered before.

You are def first on my list to visit as soon as I have funds - it's FAR easier to scrape together the small fare to Caledonia than to the States after all.

We have some packet custard here which won't be eaten, I promise I'll bring it for the spotted dick!

Gonna have to wait for Summer for me I'm afraid. I can't afford time away in the next few months. Once I finish my degree I'm up for a trip

I want to come!

I was supposed to be doing a trip in August last year, but my little bundle of joy put an end to that plan.

Unfortunately, I think the little bugger is going to preclude much travelling for the next year or so, but you just never know.

If you build it, I might come.

@ Rich - nope, or yes sorta. Scotland isn't that big by US standards, though, and you could easily have a week at one of those places and then get here for a weekend GTG to make the plane fare more worthwhile .
@ Merc - Skye is further up and to the left (!).
For those of you planning already Arran is the dot on the map to look for ...
