A bit of nostalgia

(probably for U.S. peeps only)

Schoolhouse Rock

I'm just a bill.
Yes, I'm only a bill.
And I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill.
Well, it's a long, long journey
To the capital city.
It's a long, long wait
While I'm sitting in committee,
But I know I'll be a law some day
At least I hope and pray that I will
But today I am still just a bill.

Also featuring, "Conjunction Junction"

likewise the two disc dvd set...

*awesome*

"If you could skate, you would be great"
"If you could make a figure eight"

Excellent lyric resource here.

Unquestionably one of the television highlights of my misspent youth.

I loved the cheese one too. Was that some dairy council thing? Couldn't have been schoolhouse rock.

The hankering cheese guy was Timer in "Time For Timer" a series of PSAs found only on ABC on saturday mornings. The cheese PSA was just one of many that Timer did. I think I remember one where he was swimming through someone's blood vessels.
