I'm trying to send an image as an attachment, but it's not displaying an attachment icon. Am I missing something?

(other than access to my own webspace, for the moment)

attachments don't appear in "preview reply" but should appear when you "submit reply"

Okay... but the post you responded to ("I'm trying to send...") HAS an attachment (which I still can't see). When I click Edit, the Attachment section refers to the proper file, so it knows it's there -- so where's the icon?

It was set to require moderator validation for attachments. I've turned that off but we do face a problem with attachments if *everyone* uses it. (Or if anyone uses the Cellar as their own private image host.)

I have no problem with moderator validation, Tony, so turn it back on if you'd prefer to use it -- there just weren't any visual clues that it was in place, that's all.

(When I'm at home, I can throw a pic in my own webspace and link it.)
