Look kids, Big Ben, Parliament

So that's why Tony Blair was such a hawk: today's NY Post sez that al Queda targetted Big Ben and Parliament for destruction on 9/11, but unexpectedly flights out of Heathrow airport were grounded after the US news.

They also say that the US death penalty is keeping Germany and France from giving the US a lot of information about "20th hijacker" Zack Moussaoui because of the US's pro-death penalty attitude.

(The Paki Islamist terrorists who blew up a bunch of Frenchmen a few weeks back were apparently unimpressed.)

When I heard that this morning it got me wondering, if they had hit GB first would we have shut down our flights?

Look how long it took France to give Philadelphia Ira Einhorn.

Granted, I don't like the death penalty, but in a situation like this, I don't think they should be withholding information on a possible terrorist. And we know that France and Germany have a great history of not killing people.

At the same time, I don't think the guy should die. Hell no! If guilty, he should be made to stew in his stupidity for the next 30-50 years.
