It's easy to be green

For the first time in its short history, SAS status is at green. Why?

--Putt-putt (our beloved 1995 purple Geo Metro) passed its emissions inspection Saturday, thanks to divine intervention and my in-laws.

--Rho and I celebrate our 3 year anniversary tomorrow.

--Rho has been feeling much better since leaving the hospital on Wednesday (after another week-long tour of duty). She's happy with her new dialysis center, and will hopefully have outpatient surgery this week to install a peritoneal catheter. This catheter will allow her to do her own dialysis here at home, allowing her to go back to work.

--My job is fine as usual. Man, I really like this job. I only wish it were a more permanent situation.

Whoohoo!

Although I'm hesitant, I'm going to bump the SAS back up to green from blue.

--I'm working...apparently, I'm doing a good job. (I don't quite believe that shit though...they'll tell you anything so that you don't leave until they want you gone.)

--I'm working in Center City...I missed that.

--For the first time in 2 years, I have internet access at work! Holy shit! I almost forgot what that was like! I've been able to read the Cellar at work for the past 2 days. I'll post a few messages from there on occasion.

--For the first time in 5 months, Rho goes back to work. She starts her new job on Monday. It's right around the corner from our house practically...and she'll make more than me. Wha?!

--I got 18 hours of sleep Thursday and last night combined, after only getting 6 in the previous two days.

--I had a few errands to run last night after work, so I decided to fulfill them while getting exercise. I walked from my office to 30th Street Station, which is a distance of about 2 miles or so. Man, that felt great!

--I ate a cheesesteak from one of the cardiac carts earlier this week. First time I've done that in several months. I don't know what it is, but there is this one particular cardiac cart at 5th and Market that has the best cheesesteaks...*drools*

And so I do.

No work for me right now...they have to find something for me to do. Don't you hate that? Not that I don't mind playing around for a bit, but I do like to *earn* money rather than *collect* it.
