xoB is the undisputed king of homemade cards.

But it is my duty, as a amateur designer, to mention that Papyrus is only one step ahead of Comic Sans as an overused font.

We have a Halloween party at our house every year. My wife (I need to come up with a good appellation for her - I'm not fond of the term 'my wife') always makes cards, typically using photos from the previous year's party. She makes a unique card for each invitee. It typically takes about a month for her to create 60 to 80 cards.

This year she has new software (InDesign), and I just bought her a new printer for her birthday (I hope she doesn't read the Cellar). I don't expect these tools will reduce the time involved, but rather increase the cost.

By the way, does the Cellar have a Halloween party? If not, it should.

I made that one for my mom for her birthday last year because I was at college on the actual day, then I took the photo and e-mailed it to her at work. She cried.

Here is a nice application. I am still looking for some good software that is mainly for printing though.
