Nice. I am really split with Obama, he seems to have the fundamental values I like but I think he will be torn to pieces before the election.

It is up to the electorate how they choose to react to the coming smear campaign. It may just work in his favor to be a Black man. The press doesn't want to be called racist, so they may not be comfortable engaging in their usual pack behavior. He's really done a nice job staying out of the fray so far.

Obama has done a good job so far of navigating the road blocks that have stood in his way. He's bound to stumble at some point, though, and hopefully it will only be a minor one.
