Am I the only person who dislikes the sound of James Taylor's voice?

It really grates on me. I find it annoying and whiny.

I enjoyed the folk-rock stuff that came out of the 70s, his music included. I've got a number of his old albums and listen to them from time to time. I can't speak to his later stuff.

I grew up listening to his music. I think his early stuff was great.

I can see why he would be annoying, but I like him.

Steve Winwood, on the other hand...

No, you are not the only person who finds his voice to be annoyingly whiny.

And his subject matter ... when you're down and troubled and you need a helping hand ... take a couple of prozac and leave me the fuck alone, why don'tcha?

I always thought he looked like a schizophrenic, but I thought his music was nasal, whiny and annoying, even in the elevator.

He sang a Beatles song at the Emmys, I think, and I liked his voice.
