Robert Plant and Allison Krause

I just watched the CMT program "Crossroads" episode with Plant and Krause performing stuff off of their collaboration, "Kicking Sand", along with other tasty morsels.

Spectacular. Awesome. Stupendous. Amazing. Watch this episode. Really. Not only can Plant still sing (perhaps better than he ever has), but Allison Krause is ridiculously talented as well as being incredibly easy on the eyes.

T Bone Burnett manages to put together the most amazing musical scenarios. The dude is brilliant.

Alison grew up in Champaign, Illinois. I found that out while we were living there. I was checking out an AK cd from the library. It turned out the librarian had sung with Alison in a local church choir.

I have no reason for telling you all this, but I couldn't stop myself.
