Lame Hotels

It doesn't matter where this hotel is located; it could be anywhere. Any place you find a Comfort Inn, a Holiday Inn Express, a Days Inn, it's always the same, placeless expanse of crap.

What bugged me about this particular hotel room was its use of the same fucking print for all the "art" on the walls. Three of the same fucking print!

Little things like that make me loose it momentarily. Then I take a picture of the wall so I can vent about it in the cellar.

You know, it could be incompetence and mediocrity that caused this, but I'd prefer to think it was a mastermind of comedy trapped in a job that is beneath them. I think it's very funny.

I'd say take two of them down and leave them in the hallway, but knowing such places, we know that they are likely screwed directly to the wall.

It's like having six pickle slices stacked directly on top of each other in the exact center of your hamburger.

You know, that sounds very plausible. Comedians usually end up in jobs that are beneath them.

The boss just said "hang all these new pictures" - he didn't say where. So, he opened the first box of 50 identical prints, and proceeded to hang each one, until he ran out. Then he opened the next box of prints, also identical, but different from the first batch.

Now logic would dictate that there were three boxes of prints, and three spots to fill in each room. However, our guy, he isn't getting payed to think. "They can hire a damn interior decorator, that ain't my job."

Or, conversely, "Does it really matter where I hang these shitty prints?"

hey, that half wall breaks up the room -- so that should only count for 2 duplicates!
