John Kerry taking dubious page from Howard Dean's book

John Kerry seems congenitally incapable of saying the right thing.

November seventh is going to be a fine opportunity for me to vote my contempt of the Democratic Party. They aren't smart enough to keep me interested.

Most politicians aren't that smart...regardless of which side they bat for.

That's how it looks. In their defense however, it's noted that In politics, sometimes all that is presented is a choice of blunders.

Success in politics comes from blunder recovery. Speed of recovery is not necessarily the cardinal virtue.

UG...if your system over there is anything at all like the one we have here - which I believe it is - every minister (you call them senators etc) has a host of staff who 'advise' him/her on policy decisions. The advisers are the smart ones.

The only thing a member of parliament really has to have is the ability to speak well in public.

John Kerry did a great job of saying the right thing today! He finally stopped sugarcoating everything and told the Bush administration off in so many words. He told the truth, and laid it out there, and made himself look great, and Bush look badly (not that this takes much effort).

Nobody in Iraq is defending America. The war in Iraq has created MORE not less terrorism. The war in Iraq is both unconstitutional and a cluster fuck.

I do believe a spine is slowly developing among the Dems. Dean, Clinton and now Kerry.

Why didn't Kerry talk this way during the Presidential election? Why's he getting a spine now?

Another case of twisting what was said, and politicizing it.

What he said was that if you don't study, you'll grow to become a stupid president who gets the country stuck in an illadvised war.

No, that's not what he said. That's what his handlers said they told him to say, after the fact.

At least when Dubya mangles things most people can tell what he meant to say.

I guess Yale didn't make Kerry all that damn smart....he ended up getting stuck in Vietnam. ;-)

Is that a spine? It's definately a bone growth, and it's near the skull.

Oh, so it wasn't political when he said it. That's a pretty comical assertion.

No kidding. I was making fun of the repubican response to any Democrat criticism: "why are the Democrats politicising the Weldon investigation?" "why are the Democrats politicising the Iraq war". Glad you agree.
