Sycamore Seeks Some Shade
As I was combing my hair tonight, I noticed a surprising amount of grey. This bothers me--as I see it, I shouldn't have this much grey hair at age 27. Although, one of my residents in college had a whole head of grey at age 22 (damn!). Because my hair is so dark, the grey shows up that much more.
I used to dye my hair a lot when I was in college...eggplant, reddish blonde, bleach blonde, fire engine red, etc. The last time I dyed my hair was probably in late 1997. That summer, I had bleached my hair, and when my hair was growing back in its original color (dark brown), the leftover blonde looked like grey, so I dyed my hair jet black. I've been thinking about doing it again recently, and with the alarming number of grey hairs, it's time. So, the poll question is...which color? The poll ends Thursday night. After which, I will take the poll results into consideration and go for a dye. |

Go freakish. You're a temp, dude. This is the ONE situation where this could be used to your advantage. Since you are the staffing solution, you can get away with shit that should only be seen on employees of Tower Records or certain boutiques on South Street.
Go for it.

I voted blonde, because I can't see another color looking as stupid.

Grey is the ideal hair color. I voted freakish because I am in favor of dying grey.

Actually, Syc, I don't personally have any problem with gray.
I'm grayer than I used to be ... there's a brownish hair to too still peeking through, but I've never done anything about it. It's the color my hair comes in. Don't see any reason to change it.

Try a midnight black with red or purple tips or high lights I did not see a pic showing your face and hair very well on your site so I went with what I did see. Oh beautiful Mrs.Syc.

If it were me, I wouldn't dye it at all. Too much of a pain in the ass for something that potientially makes you look wiser anyway.
My advice: Accept it! :) |

YES! That's it ... we need a decent pic so we can see the current color and style and be better able to match for complexion, etc. (none of this will change my opinion regarding using some freakish color, but will impact precisely WHICH freakish color I might suggest ... A really vibrant purple would be my first choice, with electric blue second, but that's just based on personal preference, rather than any real assessment of what would look best on yah.)

I'll respond to all your comments later, but I'll try to find a photo that actually shows my hair and post it later tonight.

Lady Syc may appreciate the opportunity to razor your head. It can be most sensual.
