Sometimes I make myself sick

I think I've given myself food poisoning.

Well, aren't you going to describe the symptoms for us in full techni-color detail?

Was there chicken involved? Surely you're not still eating Christmas left overs?

I think it might have been the chicken. It's not xmas leftovers though. I took it out of the freezer tonight and defrosted it in the microwave.

the worst I ever had was from a dodgy spring roll at a take away place.

I shat black water for days after. It was not pretty at all.

I'm thinking I probably should have put this somewhere other than where people come to think about food.

A likely culprit.
Was it some kind of left overs, though? And if so, how long had it sat between the first cooking and being frozen?

Nope...no leftovers. Tenderloins purchased from woolies a few weeks ago and frozen immediately.

Anyway...at least it's only mild. I suppose it could have been from the baby spinach...or maybe even the anchovies although I only opened the bottle yesterday and refrigerated it.

I'm generally very scrupulous about food preparation and storage. It shits me (pardon the pun) when inevitably something goes wrong and someone gets sick...especially when it's me!

I got some from a Chinese buffet Thursday. I threw up all over the wife's minivan...no warning either.

I know it was the food because she was ill that day also.

Cleaning and detailing a puke-y minivan costs $45 and reportedly looks great. Smells a lot better too.

What a bargain!

I suppose if my family was dying of starvation, I would be desperate enough to clean a stranger's puke-y minivan for $45, but sitting here right now, I can't imagine doing that job for less than oh, $500 plus materials.

Don't worry. That's what undocumented immigrants are for.

That's what I was thinking. Last time I checked car detailing prices around here it was at least $100, and that was for non-pukey vehicles. I mean, maybe if it was just on the removable floor mat, but in the upholstery? That would be some extensive shampooing and/or steam cleaning.
