DVDs for sale

I have decided to weed my DVD collection of those things that I will obviously never watch again. It's going to take me a while to get my act together and do photos for ebay auctions, so if anybody would like any of these, private message me & I'm sure we can agree on a fair price. All of them are in good condition and have led a sheltered life on the shelf on my entertainment center.
  • Basic Instinct (unrated Director's Cut with comemorative ice pick-shaped ballpoint pen; red ink, of course)
  • Boogie Nights (original DVD release)
  • Close Encounters of the Third Kind (collector's edition)
  • Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
  • Driving Miss Daisy
  • Erin Brockovich (sealed)
  • Frank Herbert's Dune (Sci-Fi channel miniseries)
  • The Fifth Element
  • Lethal Weapn 4 (sealed)
  • Lost in Space
  • Quills
  • Silence of the Lambs (sealed; Criterion Collection special edition; now out of print)
  • Six Days, Seven Nights (sealed)
  • Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (original DVD release)
  • Star Trek - The Next Generation Season 1 (7 discs)
  • Star Trek - The Next Generation Season 2 (6 discs)
  • Stargate (original DVD release)
  • Stepmom (sealed)
I hate to disappoint everybody, but I will be holding on to my copy of Cannonball Run.

I'm good for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

(Darn you dave for already calling dibs on The Fifth Element and the Silence of the Lambs ... but if he changes his mind or his check bounces, keep me in mind

Yes, I second that "darn you" dave. Fifth Element has been on my "bought it on VHS dammit before DVDs came out and would like to replace it but am not happy about paying a second time for the same movie" list for quite some time!

Re: DVDs for sale

I just thought y'all might be amused at what DVDs I can't give away. Between dave and wolf, sellmydvds.com, and fleabay, I have disposed of everything except:
  • Lost in Space
  • Stargate (original DVD release)
  • Stepmom (sealed)

To be fair, the reason I have them is that they were given away as part of a free package when I bought my DVD player back in 1999. Of course, so did everybody else who bought a DVD player during that Christmas season, which explains the low demand. (I didn't even bother listing them on ebay, the sale prices were so low, or non-existent.)

Heh, funnily enough, I probably would have taken Stepmom if I had noticed it was there. I hadn't.

Ha! Oh well.

So, uh, tell me what you want for it?

Stepmom, Lost in Space, and 6 Days 7 Nights (or whatever it was) came free with a lot of DVD players a couple years ago, and so there's a glut in the re-sale marketplace.

And since 2 out of 3 of yours were still sealed, I'm guessing that's where you got them!
