What is your favorite aroma?

I love home fragrances as well as personal ones (currently use Miracle by Lancome or Blackberry Vanilla-Bath and Body works) but I LOOOOOVE to scent my house with natural lavendar (which I grow), spices and hot potpourri that simmers a fruity/vanilla-like scent.

I've lots of greenery in the yard--does anyone know of a good, homemade potpourri I could make from lavendar, rose, calendula, daisy? Or any ideas on backyard abundance and what to do with it. Thanks!
