  A BOOBY-trapped car explodes as a bomb disposal expert approaches in a desperate bid to disarm a device inside. But incredibly he escaped with his life. The man took the full force of the blast yesterday but his heavy body armour saved him from serious injury as the vehicle disintegrated in a cloud of smoke and flame. from here
