Baked Beans or Home Fries

I just got done reading through the Dogs or Brats thread- Johnsonville brats are once again on my grocery list.
So my next thought is, what do I fix with them, a skillet of home fries or a dish of my finely tweaked, (oh so good) baked beans?
I love to chow down on either.

Your choice would be?

With brats, it's got to be beans. Home fries go with other stuff.

North of the Mason Dixon line homefries are a breakfast thing. (that's thang to you) and it doesn't really matter since everyone fucks them up royally. (don't even get me started) But with the grill it could be anything as a side. Tonight we grilled some vegan pork steaks (Pork! the other vegetable.) and we had grilled corn on the cob. Sometimes we do roasted potatoes or roasted beets. sometimes we'll throw a vegetarian on the grill, you know, just for grins, it's all good.

The inch has been badgering me about when we are going to do grilled pizza. I am working on it and I will video tape it when it goes down and you'll see it. I am not talking some pansy assed shit with a pan or pizza stone or pre baked crust. God would know you were trying to fool him and he would smite you verily. No this would be dough right on the grill BAM! (as they say) stay tuned.

I have an original idea--prepare both food items!

I agree, it's "both."

Pressed to choose one, I'd say...um, it depends. Depends on who's eating it and if they're going to be spending the rest of the evening in close proximity to me.

I prefer the beans, though, unless you're talking potatoes with all the goodies like peppers, onions, and cheese! Yum!

Love those J'ville brats. My favorite is Honey Barbecue.
