Farewell Letter
I want to send a letter out to the people at my current company to say goodbye. I've drafted something and I would like your opinions as to how I could improve it.
Thanks, Radar ========================= Dear Friends and Esteemed Colleagues, I'm sending this letter to let you know that I will be moving on to new and exciting challenges in my career. It is with both sadness and excitement that I write this letter. My last day at Siemens will be January 25, 2008. It has been a genuine pleasure working for DPC & Siemens during these past three years. I have enjoyed working with a fine staff of professionals, and I will miss my associations here. Working for DPC & Siemens has been a wonderful experience. I could not ask for a better group of colleagues. I have grown in many ways here and will always treasure the opportunities provided for me by both DPC & Siemens. During my time here, I've grown personally and professionally. I wish you all continued success in all your endeavors. I will miss my friends here at Siemens, but I feel that it is time for a new challenge and experience. For those who are in the Los Angeles area, I'd like to invite you to enjoy one last happy hour with me at Patrick Malloy's Pub on the Hermosa Beach Pier. This will happen from 6pm on Friday, January 25th 2008. It has been my great pleasure to serve you and I thank you all for the opportunity to do so. Sincerely Yours, Radar
