New I.D. law?

It seems as our mayor and city council has passed some kind of shit that if you try to buy beer you have to show ID. I'm sure if I was by a damn long shot, under age that I could find someone to buy beer for me. Guess they prefer that they drive to next town. Since they all have cars.
Bruce, what did you say about god and the fucking fan club? BTW I'm 62 yrs. old and it burns my butt. No I'm not with these

Must be different for guys.

For women, particularly those over 30, the demand to present ID for the purchase of alcohol usually results in a big kiss (for male wait staff) and a significant increase in tip.

Two girls in front of me in the off licence were asked for ID the other day. They duly produced it, purchased and left.

I asked the (very young) man behind the counter, "Do you want to see my ID as well?" with a smile. He looked at me with a pitying look and said, "No."

Comforted myself that it was a deadpan response to my obvious joke.
