If anyone gets the Inqy, the article "The Grey Gap" in the Tech.Life section is about one of my projects, "Generations on Line". The article is on their site, but it's not interesting enough to link in I guess, but I thought I would brag on them since their work is really coming together and since the back-end part of the site is entirely my baby.

It's a site for libraries, senior centers, etc. to give old folks a way to get online without all the mumbo-jumbo, and with large type, simple instructions, and so forth. Easy search engine interface, easy email interface, etc.

PPA under state control

Sorry Tony, this isn't related to what you wrote, but it was in today's Inky...

Who broke out the crackpipes in Harrisburg? Granted, in the short time I've lived here, I've learned that Philadelphia City Government involves a lot of brown-nosing, back slapping, and posturing. But does the state (and Perzel specifically) honestly believe that they can take over the Parking Authority without a legal battle in court?

And how many votes did Perzel win by in November? 92?

I'm all for us figuring out a way to educate our 210,000 young ones sitting in crappy schools. But it would seem to me that we're going to get seriously screwed if we keep trying to play nice with Ridge and his minions in Harrisburg.
