NASA Mars Press Briefing to reveal "Significant Findings"

Today at 2:00PM EST, NASA is going to have a press briefing to reveal "significant findings" of the Mars rover missions. They released a press release yesterday to announce today's press release, implying that it's a pretty interesting/important announcement.

Theories, anyone? They're pretty sure they've found liquid water in brine form (salty water) in the soil.... think that's all they're announcing? Or perhaps evidence of microscopic life in the brine? Something else entirely?

They'll be broadcasting the press release on NASA TV.

Or perhaps evidence of microscopic life in the brine?

This is my guess, and I'm very excited! I can't find the images, anymore, but they found some interestings features in the rocks that appeared as spirals and spheres.

Hmm, it turned out to be an interesting-but-not-too-surprising "We're a little more sure that Mars once had water!" announcement. Not as exciting an announcement as their hype implied. Oh well. Interesting all the same, and it should only get more interesting from here.
