McDonald's game fix...

Wasn't the first thing you thought: "I figured ALL those kinda games were fixed!"

Well that's what I figured, anyway. You got so few winning pieces out of the bunch that they had to be printed separately and specfically. You got so few people in the loop that it should be incredibly simple to get away with it. It's not like they threw the five winners into a big vat of bingo balls and told everyone to pick one out.

Am I making any sense here? It's been a long day.

As I understand it, McDs was running a monopoly take off game with some pretty nice prizes but the contractor they used for security was rife with theives. All the winners just happened to know a small group of guys out in Ca....

What amazed me was the speed of McDs damage control. Before anyone new something was screwy the folks at Mc Corporate had the Mc Spin doctors and Mc Lawyers diverting the Mc Shite from the fan and into the big macs where it belongs.

question: can anyone here actually digest a big mac?

I honestly never thought that the games were fixed...seriously. I mean, the odds of winning Powerball this Saturday are 80 million to 1, which is how I see those kind of contests.

(BTW Tony, I found a Krispy Kreme store on the way to getting tix last night. It's on 202 North near Brandywine, DE. I may have to stop there tomorrow.)

I think it was important for McDonald's to distance themselves from this one. Obviously, they don't want their rep damaged...unfairly in this case. Furthermore, it would hurt all those franchisees who actually give back to the community.

Unless I'm mistaken...

The big winners were picked (so called randomly) at a McDonald's restaurant by McDonald's exectivies That is not a random drawing.

MCDONALD'S IS DIGGING THEMSELVES INTO AN EVEN BIGGER HOLE!

Anyone want to go in a class action suit vs. McDonald's? Their cure was worse than their disease!

Idiots!!!
