Bill of Rights Security Edition

Penn Jillette called Dean Cameron a genius for this little bit of agitation. Its called the Bill of Rights, Security Edition. Its a breast pocket sized copy of the BoR printed on metal, with the 4th amendment in red. Its meant to be confiscated by airport security. "Oh, you'd like me to give up my Bill of Rights, certainly."

That thing looks dangerous to me!

I can imagine terrorists using it to hijack a plane and crash it into the Statue of Liberty.

For our greater security and to protect our way of life, Ashcroft should abolish the Bill of Rights so libertarians who are not Repulicans and are, by definition, not with us but with the terrorists, will have no rights to carry this pocket Bill of Rights on airplanes ... or anywhere.

Dean is a good friend of mine and I'm even more proud to say that since he came up with this great idea. Good for you my friend. Good for us all.

We have rights? Are you sure this isn't one of those outdated ideas? Surely we're all in agreement that we should be giving up basic freedoms in exchange for temporary security? Right?

I give them up gladly. Its just too much responsibility. I wouldn't trust myself, better to let George handle them. I prefer to think about television. mmmmmmm...tv
