Congrats to the Angels.
I didn't get to see the last game but I see the Angels didn't have much trouble. Ahh well, hopefully they are given a chance to come back next year.

They can't be screaming as much as they were for that Yankees/Mets world series a few years back that no one west of the Hudson cared about.

The thing about a Yankees Mets series is that Yankee Haters would have watched if anyone had given the Mets a chance But if they were like me they didn't, and there for most likely didn't watch it. In fact, I like to think that series never happened. That on it’s own drove down ratings.
But then ratings were also helped because there are way more Yankee supporters outside of New York then any other team has, and an East Coast series actually occurs at a reasonable time on the West coast, therefore increasing viewers This series on the other hand occurs on the West Coast. The East Coast won’t get the games until around 9 o’clock since most games start at 6. This is the biggest reason I see this series being a problem for the network. Since most people on the East Coast aren’t going to care about the series, even those who would have watched just because it's the World series are not going to stay up to watch it. P.S. Does that Mark McGuire ad that has been playing drive anyone nuts? Not the ad itself but the fact that they say “Baseball Championship” Isn’t this being a little bit too worried about Political Correctness.

Actually, I usually complain about East Coast games being on too early - they (West Coast games seem to do this too) seem to be halfway over by the time I get home from work at 6:30ish. Maybe this seems different from other parts of the country though.

Either way, I bet the ratings suck, though I'm making sure I see Bonds hit. I think he's going to step it up big time.
Though if the Angels are as hot as they have been they are going to win this series with ease.
