Why in hell is Little Tybee Island actually twice as big as Tybee Island?
Shouldn't Tybee Island be called Little Tybee Island and Little Tybee Island be called Tybee Island or Little Tybee island be called the Other Tybee Island or something?

Wonderful Merc!
Makes me want to visit even more. Fort Pulaski was a surprise, reminds me of many ruins I've visited in the UK... but with sunshine. Of course I knew Savannah has a history (I took America, The Road to Indepence at college ![]() Ossabaw Island is gorgeous. I question his description that it is pristine. Mostly deserted, yes. Question - what on earth were they doing introducing armadillos in the nineties! Surely we all knew about eco-systems by then? Damn cute though. I was amazed by the Jewish Temple. What? It's just like a church? I never pictured them like that! Then I read that it is in fact the only gothic style Temple in the US. Ah, 'splains it then. Damn, just found the other two pages! Better stop commenting before it becomes an essay. I can't comment on the artistic quality of the photos - I'm not a photographer. All I can say is they are truly beautiful pistures of a beautiful place. Thank you. |
