Sad Duck Pics

If you really want to see sad duck/waterfoul photos, try and find any that talks about the recent oil spill in the Delaware River. They are just COATED with the stuff!

Up to 1,000 birds died in oil spill:

The Canadian goose pic in the middle of the page is pretty sad...

A friend came over tonight who is an animal control officer on the Jersey side.
She said she and a partner picked up 4 birds at the very beginning but were soon told to back off. The feds took control and nobody was to do anything unless directed to by Officials at the Heinz Wildlife Refuge, on the PA side.
She also said they had recovered two eagles.

I don't even think it is 'shopped. I think it is just cropped, and the rest of the ducklings are standing on the other side of the grate, out of frame.

I recall an extensive discussion regarding this as well, but I'll be darned if I can find it right now.

I'm sure whoever took the picture would have helped the little fellas out if it is real.

It's in the parenting forum, I believe. Not that I have time to find it before work.
