Soldiers' photos

In conjunction with the thread on limiting access to the Web for military personnel, I thought I'd mention that Shannon Larratt of BME (a subversive if I ever met one) maintains a website of photos for our servicemen and women, called Under Mars: An Online Archive of Soldiers' Photos .

Very worth a look. These are actual soldiers' photos from Iraq etc.

If you page around randomly, you'll find (besides a LOT of burning or exploded vehicles), amazing palace photos, soldiers' pranks (e.g., flaming mohawks), archeological and modern monuments, and a lot of just very poignant pics
