Bush deals nukes to the Saudis

http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5...Q5XB3RNj5fU34A

Quote:
The White House said Washington and Riyadh were also to sign an agreement on nuclear cooperation that would clear the way for Saudi Arabia to receive enriched uranium for its reactors, without the need to master the fuel nuclear cycle itself as Iran has done.

"This agreement will pave the way for Saudi Arabia's access to safe, reliable fuel sources for energy reactors and demonstrate Saudi leadership as a positive non-proliferation model for the region," it said.
Unless it doesn't. Man I don't get this one.

They know the oil is running out.

edit; I wonder who'll be chosen as the contractor to build these plants?
Wonder if Cheney knows?
Maybe it's to head off a deal with the Russians, like Iran has?

Well I don't have the facts yet, and I certainly wouldn't want to cast aspersions on our beloved leader... or him dummy, Bush.

Let's see, first he does a belly crawl for cheaper gas then he fetches the nuke. Good dog, Mr. President, good dog.

Isn't this the same deal we've offered multiple times to the Iranians? We'll give you the powerplant nukes for free, if you'll quit trying to learn how to make your own?

I hope they give them nukes and let them turn the whole place to glass. Only then will we get off the teat of Middle Eastern oil. The world will be a better place when a big frigging asteroid hits Mexico and the Middle East.

I loves me some Mexico! I just see as a solution to our border problems. We need a big ocean between Texas and say... Panama.

Speaking of oil, congress grilled the oil executives. They were asked for their income amount to which they replied was in the millions of dollars.

Congress asked them where their moral compass was.

The oil executives said it was the governments fault for not letting them drill in the U.S.
