I Sent these to My Step son ( he works for Dell selling Printers and Peripherals ) asking if he had the Part # for the fork

Looks to me like the fork is just a wedge, it's the rubber band that is doing the important task of holding up the feed tray in the back.

there's supposed to be a cover there, and a spring. probably got cracked whilst unjamming accordianed paper, and the spring flew off into the ether.
