Anyone See The New Pink Panther?
I was disappointed. Peter Sellers was a hard act to follow. It had it's funny moments...but something was missing. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Out of 10 I would give it about a 7.

What is it missing? You've already identified Peter Sellers. Add to that Robert Wagner, David Niven, Capucine, and the oh so exotic Claudia Cardinale.
Recently Hollowood has had a great deal of accuracy in identifying movies and television shows that do not need remakes. I am not going to waste the time or the considerable amount of money necessary to see this in the theater.

Peter Sellers was a master at playing a character that was at the same time completely hilarious and completely devoid of humor. A subtley completely lost on the otherwise gifted Martin.

What was it missing? It just wasn't as funny as the original, and Beyonce doesn't really do anything for me. It's like she was out of place there.
