My mohter's hands

These were the hands that raised me. They helped to dress me, they baked bread. They played the piano and they arranged flowers.

I took this the week before she died as she slept.

I think you should print that and frame it.
They have such associations for you - one of the most important hands you will ever remember.

Hmm.....Chris, you make me realize how I don't appreciate my parents enough. I get annoyed with my mom very often, which made me snap at her. Now, I feel bad. Thank you for all your posts and threads about your mom and parents. Reminds us to appreciate our parents before it's too late.

I'm in the process of making one of those MyPublisher.com books on my mother with pictures throughout her life until this one and will make a copy for each of my siblings.
