I added a comment to the YouTube page and had an email back to thank me for commenting. I'm sure it was an automated one, but it blew me away. What an amazing institution.

What is PS22? I found a blog, but no description. OK now I found it's an elementary school. Why is it called PS22? Our music teacher has elementary school kids singing in harmony, I didn't realize it was not the norm. they're not that good though... and they sing booooring stuff

Most elementary schools in NY are numbered and the PS stands for Public School.

really? wow, thanks, I had no idea. I'm only just about used to roads being called things like "eight mile" "nine mile" "M" "N" "P"........ (22 1/2 Mile Road cracks me up every time)
