Awareness Charity Awareness Day

As you may or may not be aware, there are many charities that have sprung up to promote awareness of certain conditions or illnesses. For example "Breast Cancer Awareness" is a goal of certain charities.

But recently I've become... aware, that not everyone is aware of these awareness charities and all the awareness that they promote. Therefore I am suggesting we start

Awareness Charity Awareness Day

This Day will be declared as a way to promote awareness of the various awareness charities. A Day when we can take a moment and remember all the people who promoted all the awareness of actual problems and conditions that many of us have.

The more you know...

The harder it is to keep track of it all.

There's an awful lot of awareness charities that promote nothing but fundraising and paying themselves handsomely. This is more prevalent with groups using veterans and animals as their shtick. Charity Navigator , Charity Watch , or Consumer Reports are good sources.

This is a valuable service you're providing because I'm not aware of too many things. I know what I know if you know what I mean.

Philosophy is the talk on a cereal box. Religion is the smile on a dog
