I'm sick of my own shit

All I want to do with the cellar is pick on the asshats. It's like I'm type cast. It definitely needs to be done, but jeez.....there's so much of it to do, that I don't have a lot of time to be anything other than the bouncer.

I haven't contributed any cool threads, any deep thoughts.....nothing but some amusing ridiculing of the crapflooders. I'm sore tempted to drop out for a while, but I know I can't. Srsly. What's a Hammer to do?

Where I come from there are many people like you; but, they have something that you don't have ... a spin doctor! Why don't you come with me to see the wizard? I'm sure that she/he/it will find you a spin doctor. Of course, the Cellar doesn't yet have a wizard; so, we'll have to have a nomination thread followed by a poll thread to select a wizard. Say, that sounds like a good job for a Hammer in need.

BTW, I'm still sporting the user title "off to see the wizard" that you gave me way back when. I wonder if that's some kind of record? We'll have to have an anniversary celebration next week.

Hammer on yourself for awhile. It's so easy, it'll be like a vacation.

Yea...I did notice that you used to have more to contribute. Quality control is a shit-job..........Hall monitoring means you aren't in class.

But if that means I have to rely on other people to do your job then I'm screwed. I'm sure as hell not going to do it.

If someone thinks they are qualified they can PM me with their resume.....I will forward it to all interested parties.

Yea...I still can't think of anyone...

The trouble with contributing something "meaningful" is that the asshats then just ramble on and on so they can come back later to read their own posts and feel like they are intelligent. Much of the more serious stuff around here is just some moron repeating something heard on NPR or Fox or CNN or some other source. Yeah, I heard it too and the poster took it out of context or just is just plain out of touch. It is obvious that many have no clue about the subject which they are essentially claiming to be an expert. Fuck 'em. Keep them in line and make me laugh in the process.

Cock.

That's a pretty good post. At one of my jobs we have 'security' there job is to watch for employees stealing. This means they have to actually have a negative mindset and 'look for problems' Yes hall monitors have got to be the suckiest job!
Why not assume people will do the right thing? In my other county job I can go into the stock room and get pencils or pins and nobody is looking over my shoulder. It is assumed that people do the right thing and it feels good to be in a positive place.
