Wonder if the piglet's owner is still looking for it?

As a teenager, a bunch of us would be cruising in the car. When we'd see someone walking a dog, we'd yell to them "that's a nice PIG you have there". The person would answer, of course "that's not a pig, it's a dog", to which we would respond "I was TALKING to the DOG"!
Good times....

Baboon adopts chicken at zoo
Mon Sep 17, 2007 8:55am EDT \ (Reuters) - A lonely baboon in a private Lithuanian zoo has adopted a chicken he saved from certain death last month and the two have formed a fast friendship, the zoo's director said Friday. The chicken was intended as food for other animals in the zoo, but escaped and was sheltered by Mitis, a six-year-old Hamadryas Baboon, Edvardas Legeckas, who runs the zoo near the port city Klaipeda in western Lithuania, told Reuters. Mitis has been fed chicken meat before, but this time he fell in love with his food, Legeckas said. "He plays with the chicken, cleans its feathers, sleeps with it, and takes care as if it was his own baby child," the zoo director said. "But I am not sure how long this affair would last, because baboon may finally realize this is food." Baboons, with their distinctive long dog-like muzzles and heavy powerful jaws, are omnivorous, but usually prefer fruit. In the wild, they live in close-knit social groups. "Obviously this baboon needed someone to communicate with," the director said.

So we have a Monkey adopting a Rooster (bringing tears to the eyes),
and a Dog adopting a Pig (making some think of BBQ).... I can't wait for the one where the Rat adopts the Ox Look like that one's destined to give someone some wood.

Dogs don't know it's not bacon!
I love animals, and it's a sweet story...but that is the sorriest looking dog and scariest little pig I've ever seen!

What is that little picture there, monster? What do the numbers behind the animal names mean? Based on my last placemat, I'm a dragon (b. 1976) so what does that mean regarding any 'dogs' I meet? Or an animal 'next' to me on the chart?
