Its a small world / sureal life experence thing

Today I had a verry weird and strange thing happen , A maint. dude i am used to working with told me his grand father killed my grand father .

Some history here , my grand father grew up in the Carolinas it the 20's 30's (?) in a family of 12-14 ( storys varry ) My grand father and 2 of his brothers got tired of their father( a real ass from what i have been told ) , packed their shit in a wheel barrow or 2 and started walking west , my grand dad stoped in Forrest City Arkansas , the other 2 kept on , one stoped in Texas , and the other stoped in Cali.
My grand dad moved to west Memphis Arkansas and opened a saw mill , got married , had a few kids , life is good right , well one day he was working on the saw blade ( this was WAY befor the lock out / tag out days of today ) , some body was walking by said controll panel and said " why is this switch turned off ??" they turned it on and well ,,,,,,, i was with out a grand father .

Now go to today ,, i was working on this truck scale , maint dude helping me with the heavy lifting , and i was teaching him what to look for on a scale that doesn't work . Ideal chatter , and the subject of last names comes up , dude froze when i mentioned my last name , then he asked " was -------------- your grand father ??" I said Yes , and did he have a saw mill at one point , again Yes , in this city and about this year , YES and he got all somber and told me HIS grand father was the man that flipped that switch that killed him . He was SOOOO apolijetic .
I just sat there dumbfounded for a sec ,,

He said his grand father had ALWAYS regreated doing it becauce he liked his boss ( my grand dad ) .




we talked and both came to the realization that that was LONG ago , and by gones were , well just that ,,,,,,,, long gone .


Weird strange story I know . i just thought i would pass it on .
