Norwegians Tommy Hol Ellingsen, 28, and his girlfriend Leona Johansson, 21, are dedicated to having sex in public to save the environment.

Although the full story doesn't do a good job of explaining how it works, it seems they accept cash to perform sex acts in public or something and are claiming to have raised a very substantial amount of money doing it. And apparently no organization will accept the money.

That doesn't help explain why they went ahead with their plan during this Norwegian festival.

It seems to me that screwing for the environment is not a good plan... it might lead to more consumers.
