Wow! That's awesome! State champs! That's a really big deal.

My high school hockey team were state champs, but being a state champ in Maine is a little different because you're only competing against like 4 other high schools. State Champs of Michigan is the real deal.

Agreed, that's better than most Sports Illustrated shots.
However I'll stop short of hanging the albatross of expected grandchildren around her neck.

She's smart, and in four(or More) years she'll be educated and capable of choosing what she wants for, and from, her life.

Thanks all. Her amazing talent in this sport continues to keep me in awe. That ball probably went 15 yards and landed dead on target. that is her special talent, the accurate distance passes and shots on goal, although she found the crossbar many, many times this weekend. But she did score in all three games, despite being a defensive player and almost never within 10 yards of the goal.

She was a little disheartened (and we think robbed) that she didn't make the First Team for the All Tounament state championship team (the dream team picked from all teams playing) but she did make the Second Team.

Look at that shoulder, after all this time at it, she's got GUNS. If something goes wrong with your tire, don't get out the jack. Just ask Hebe to lift it.

I tried to play this sport once (in my prime) and after about five minutes I was all HELL WITH THIS. Couldn't be more exhausting.
