Saving U.S. Healthcare/ Healthcare reform
Here is a video of a talk given by L Gordon Moore, MD on how great primary care can save the US healthcare system.
This is an excerpt of a longer talk and the culmination of a several year study involving hundreds of practices across the US. The video runs about 35 minutes.

I like how his solution completely side steps the government. It's in the best financial interests of corporations to offer good primary care.

A majority switch in Congress could kill the current plan by leaving it unfunded. Not that I would look forward to another extreme swing from one party to the other, because I would not.... but that would do it. We don't need to wait a generation.

I watched it again a second time and took notes. I think his general premise is sound but I would like to see more of his data, he presents a number of studies without reference.
This is totally not what the Obamacare plan invisions. |

Yeah, the talk was over an hour and this was cut down. It should have refs to a website to look more closely at the studies.
