I think he's dead.
Before he has always made announcements himself when ill before his surgery or procedures and made a statement about still being in power two days or so afterward.
He has never given away power during a procedure and this one was a minor one, as described.
I think they are going to wait until the FL elections are over to announce. They are very important to them.
Just like Lenin, Stalin, Mao and many others, they wait a long time... did not announce Lenin's death for about ten months.
