When my dad worked for a national company-that's how it worked. They paid well, they had great benes, they even had a private park complete with a river you could canoe in and a swimming pool, picnic grounds, every christmas they'd have movies on the big screen for the kiddies and give out stockings full of candy at the end. Ah, THOSE were the days. it was also the 1960's.
